This is a site all about lawn sprinklers for the do-it-yourself person, and how to install underground sprinklers yourself. Here you can find information on all types of lawn sprinkler parts and related items, as well as tips and tricks for installing sprinklers, references and lots more information revolving around lawn and garden sprinklers and sprinkler systems.
About Me
I’m not a professional installer by any means, but I thought the prices were too high to have someone else put in my system, and I thought to myself “How hard could it be?”. About 9 years ago, by using what limited information there was on the internet, asking questions at the store and taking a look at some of my neighbors professional installed irrigation systems, I figured it out on my own and installed my own sprinkler system.
Since then, I’ve moved twice and installed my own sprinkler system in both houses (each time saying it will be my last). I also installed sprinkler systems at my sisters, my parents, my wife’s parents, and a good friend of mine, all with their help of course.
In total I’ve installed 7 different systems in different homes across the country, and I’ve been exposed to a number of challenges and different ways of doing things. I sincerely hope that this site will help you with common questions you might have when you are thinking about, or in the middle of installing your own system.
